Back pain is not always caused by a lumbar disc disorder. If you ignore the symptoms, the consequences could be more serious than you think.

The HK01 website reported the สมัคร ufabet story of Mr. Wang (pseudonym), 26 years old, living in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China. Ms. Wang had always been in good health. But suddenly she had lower back pain, and this symptom lasted for 2-3 months. To the point where she could not get out of bed or walk normally.

Later, Mr. Wang went to the affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University for treatment. After a physical examination. He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.

Mr Wang was surprised to learn he had lung cancer. He said that although he started smoking at the age of 10, he did not think he smoked much.

“I don’t smoke much. I smoke only half a pack a day. How could I get lung cancer?” Wang said.

Dr. Chang Jiwei, deputy director of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, said Wang’s tumor had grown to about 5 centimeters and his lower back pain was because the cancer cells had spread to his lumbar spine.

After testing, it was found that Mr. Wang had lung cancer due to a mutation in the Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) gene, which is a very rare mutation that occurs in only about 2-3 percent of cases.

“This young man is very lucky,” Dr Chang added, adding that the condition was detected early and treated, and is now stable after receiving targeted treatment. Otherwise, Mr Wang would have only had a few months left to live.
