Chelsea Football Club are asking the Cyber Police to take action against fans who made racist comments towards Blues defender Wesley Fofana after the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.

Fofana was question by Arsenal fans over why he remain on the pitch at the end of the game despite committing multiple fouls at the Emirates Stadium.

That made him unable to take a screenshot of those comments and upload it to his story with a caption expressing his frustration with racist and narrow-minded football fans.

It is understood Chelsea have contact Instagram to request swift removal of offensive messages. The club’s sporting team, players and staff have been in touch with Fofana to offer support.
Fofana was involve in a number of robust exchanges with Arsenal players. He escaped a red card for a clash with Declan Rice and was later book.
